I use AMOS for my research work. It is a very useful tool but requires some level of training to use. After initial training, it is relatively easy to use. The software helps me create and test models or test previously existing models. Compared to Smart PLS, a similar software, the items to create a model in AMOS have to be dragged one by one, whereas in Smart PLS, the items can be easily imported. Many add-ons can be used in AMOS to perform more functions, which is also great.

What do you like best about AMOS?
The diagrammatic representation of the models to be tested gives a lot of ease if the model can be seen in diagrammatic form with all the connections and their weights.
What do you dislike about AMOS?
In the case of initially drawing a model, the items have to be dragged one by one into the model. If there were an option to drag or import all the items of a particular variable at once, it would be much more time-efficient.
