Ansys workbench
I used Ansys classic In my starting days as design engineer. The complex thing APDL classic Is if we did any small mistake there is no redo option again we have to do everything. Now have been using Ansys Work bench from last two years.This tool is very good while doing repetitive work like meshing . In workbench contacts can define before meshing so no need worry about mesh change , like contacts we can set loads , constraints, material before meshing. Due to above option there any rework due to mesh change unless if we divide areas but post postprocessing option is little bit complex.post processing option is very easy or convenient in Ansys APDL In Work bench DOE option is trend setter in analysis. Below options are very use ful in Workbench 1.DOE design of excellence 2.paramatic definition 3.automatic contact generation 4.model creation 5.splitting options
