In Conversation with Mr. Seth, the CEO of Ezofis

Below is an excerpt from the interview:

A warm welcome from SoftwareSuggest, Mr. Seth. What is your success mantra? Something you have followed personally that has helped you in this wonderful journey.

Thank you SoftwareSuggest! I love listening to Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam. In one of his quotes he says “Small aim is a crime; have great aim”. That is my success mantra which has helped me in my journey so far.

And not only that he also said “All birds find shelter during a rain. But an eagle avoids rain by flying above the clouds”, I think of this quote whenever I face obstacles and challenges and that gives me confidence to face any challenge that comes across.”

How has Ezofis equipped itself to deal with the Covid-19 situation better?

This global pandemic has put many people and companies on their toes to consider challenges. It shook all of us, and the great question for everyone was how to survive and revive.

We also were initially having the shock and were reactive to the situation. We are culturally people-focused; all our employees are one family, and that instinctively helped us think about the safety of our employees and their families. We took all the necessary steps to equip our staff to work from home. We attended to the medical requirements of them and their families. We also kept them informed about the COVID guidelines.

From the business perspective, being a digital transformation organization, we realized that we haven’t internally achieved a digital maturity that can provide a pandemic proof of operations. So we started working towards it to reach digital maturity.

We filled many gaps in that area using our tools and third-party tools that digitized and automated many of our business processes. Significant digitization happened to us internally in the past two years, which helped us to survive and provided us with a proven solution to face any such challenges in the future.

During the Covid-19 situation, we not only thought about our immediate survival but also about preparing for the post-pandemic case, which helped us handle the situation better.

Our readers are keen to know what prompted you to create Ezofis? Tell us about your journey so far.

I started my career in the imaging industry, where I had to interact with many people who manually process a large amount of paperwork– documents daily. It is not easy; you can not imagine the amount of paperwork behind enterprise business operations in industries like banks, insurance, governments, etc.

I discussed digitization, automation, and robotics 20 years ago with my friends and colleagues. There were digitization solutions but more on just scanning documents during that time, but I always thought there could be more different ways to solve this problem.

Digitizing a manual process is one, but at the same time, we should eliminate processes that create the paper in the first place. My mentor and guru, Mr.Vidya Sagar, answered many of my questions, which helped me realize this problem.

These situations gave me ideas to take the initiative to solve this problem in the long run and prompted me to create EZOFIS.

Our journey so far is very customer-centric, we take care of each of our customers with extreme care, and our goal with every customer is to make sure that they solve their problems and progress with more business benefits. We grew very organically, so most of our customers give us repeat business to achieve more within their business, and also they refer us to other companies.

We also appreciate our partners who carry the same vision and promote our solutions in the market. Our journey would have been even more harrowing without our partners and customers.

Which are some of the most valuable features of Ezofis?

We value simplicity, user-friendliness, and integrability for our customers. So most of our valuable features cover these three essential aspects. Resistance to change is a significant bottleneck for any digitization and automation projects, so we made sure our user interface and user experience were straightforward to understand and use.

We avoided opening multiple screens in front of our users and helped them stay with the tools they are using right now, such as office 365, Google Workspace, etc., and brought our capabilities to use our plugins.

One of our major features is integrating our automation processes with customers existing ERP and CRM solutions so that the data is validated and appropriately exchanged between all the systems for improved business efficiencies.

The low-Code feature is also one of the most valuable. It reduces or eliminates the need for coding while deploying complex business processes to be automated using our workflow automation engine.

The current features that we offer are based on extensive research with end-users in the regions that we operate, so they are much required and appreciated by the users.

What updates and advancements are being made at Ezofis to help your clients navigate the new normal?

We have included more AI and ML ( Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning) capabilities to automate business processes with our existing version. That helps many organizations to digitize their processes and deliver pandemic-proof operations.

Using our solutions, they can collaborate with their customers quickly and offer a great customer experience. We are also expanding in the North American region at this stage, which helps us know more about the user requirements by researching that region post-pandemic. That will reflect our upcoming version, V5, which will be more compatible with the new normal.

Where do you see Ezofis to greater heights in the next 5 years?

In the next five years, EZOFIS will be one of the companies with 100 percent global coverage and listed on the Fortune 500 companies. We will be the global market leader in the digitization and automation industry with the highest market share.

We will continue to be people-focused and constantly learn and improve our knowledge to be a thought leader in this industry in the next five years.

Are there any ideological principles that your organization follows to maintain the brand value?

We follow the lean six sigma methodology in all our projects. That reflects in our product builds by integrating automation tools based on delivering lean six sigma performance monitoring and analytics.

Our project consultants are all black belts and green belts in lean-six sigma, including me. We follow a consultative approach to any project we take and deploy EZOFIS with a problem-solving mindset and result-oriented.

What is your advice to young entrepreneurs?

You might face many people blocking you from what you want to achieve, but they don’t know the path you are seeing to achieve your goals. Believe in what you are doing, and you will achieve it for yourself and the people who are with you, helping you achieve it. Never quit trying; after all, it is your idea!
