Q1) How does KloudPortal Help Businesses?

KloudPortal is a team of technology enthusiasts who build products for small and medium enterprises (SMEs). We help businesses by providing stable, innovative and scalable products.

Q2) How did you hit upon the idea for your Company?

KloudPortal was envisioned to be built as an umbrella company that shall develop products for various business domains. Today if you see, we have products for E-commerce (Customer Engage Pro), Education (Mobi Quiz, Mobi Learn), Retail (Quick Bill and EazeKart) etc. We continue to build products that would serve the small and medium business community.

Q3) How have Sales evolved since you first got into the business? What hasn’t changed?

Since we started small, the evolution in the sales cycle has been gradual and continuous. We see a 50% increase in the sales volume today than compared to the last year. It’s the marketing and re-engagement that has been helping us through.

Coming to what hasn’t been changed, I would say – Base Products. We have tried to stick to the original concept of the product and have not deviated from it just to increase sales. We have provided 100% support to all our customers for their customizations.

Q4) What are some of the important features or traits that many of your customers are looking for? And how do you fulfill them?

Our Customers have always looked up for honesty, dedication, and on-time deliveries. When we talk to our clients about our products, we clearly inform them of our limitations, dependencies and any hurdles that we may come across on the implementation end.

We believe that gaining trust from valued customers is a continuous process. For a company that has garnered their customer trust has never been let down.

Q5) As a Founder, how have your visions changed from the initial days of your Company to the present?

Our initial vision for our company was limited to only one segment of the market. However, as we grew by years, we have learned to see the Big Picture. The way our products can be leveraged by other domains and industries. Today, we have envisioned an umbrella which would serve the various business domains.

the other thing is that we have learned to be balanced in any situation. If as the Captain of the Ship, if a founder isn’t able to balance during highs and lows, there is every chance that the ship could sink sooner or later. Balance towards life, career and opportunities are very important and necessary.

Q6) What do you know is true that very few others agree upon?

People who see the world of business from outside think that running a business is an easy task and that things can happen in minutes. It is a myth. To survive in any business, one should have qualities such as perseverance, patience, and determination to achieve the goals.

Q7) What do you expect to see over the next five to ten years In the Marketing and Sales Industry?

In the next few years, the marketing and sales channels are going to get diversified. Today we reach a sample of customers and are not sure how many may get converted. But the future would give an opportunity to reach out to individuals and market the products to them. Today many industries are working towards it. Amazon and other big players have already changed the execution in these areas and more is yet to come.

Q8) What was your journey like to get where you are?

My journey in Entrepreneurship has been great. It has been a great learning experience, meeting people from different backgrounds and I would look forward to seeing more exciting years to come!

Q9) What’s the hardest decision you’ve made so far?

My decision to pursue Entrepreneurship as a Goal was the hardest decision that I have made. Today, after 3 years in Entrepreneurial Journey, I believe that the decision was worth taking. I would not have come across great individuals, influencers, situations if I had not set out on this route. I would never have gotten an opportunity to think out of the box when challenges arise. Today I am a much better individual than an entrepreneur. I learn a lot each and every day and know there is a long way to go!

Q10) Lastly, we would be glad to have your valuable suggestion for the New Age Entrepreneurs coming up in the industry today.

The suggestion I would like to give to the New Age Entrepreneurs is: Please don’t jump into entrepreneurship directly. One has to learn the art of doing business before even starting. Firstly identify your passion. If photography is your passion, pursue the passion, learn new things in the field and also notice if you come across any problem areas or statements. Once you have identified a problem statement, then try to seek for solutions. Build the solutions, market the solution and then you can build a business around it. Passion drives everything and one has to follow his/her heart to achieve the goal!
