I used it for two things, the first is to edit my videos, and the second is to record my screenIt is a very easy to use feature, the user interface is very simple, it has a lot of ready-made transitions between videos, as well as special transitions for texts, as well as animations for images, you can put video subtitles, add graphic shapes and arrows, there are some sound effects that you can use very quickly In processing files and exporting videos.You can also use it to remove the screen and make some explanations with high audio and video accuracyCamtasia is aimed at the novice user in this field, because you can create simple videos of very high quality.

Camtasia lacks the most important feature which is autosave, when the power goes out all the project I was working on disappearedIt also does not have as many professional transitions as in other programs, it is of limited use

The best editing software for simple projects
Camtasia, to my knowledge, is the only software where you can capture your screen and a camera at the same time and also has editing capabilities. This is huge for my team. We mostly create content for internal use and so having something complex was just going to slow things down. Camtasia has just the right amount of tools without the extra features you might need if editing a full-length film. It's been great for our team.

What do you like best about Camtasia?
It does not take much to get up and running. They do have some great templates to get you started and the tools are very simple and easy to understand.
What do you dislike about Camtasia?
As with any software, there may be a few quirks. I've had trouble downloading my files and them looking a bit weird. Could honestly be a personal error but I've been able to correct it by just downloading it again. Also, I'd much rather prefer a subscription than paying for the version like Camtasia does now.
