This is one of the good-to-have software. One interesting feature is that it allows you to scan and upgrade applications. CCleaner excels at cleaning up unnecessary files and optimizing your device. It was pretty easy and straightforward to install, and as per the instructions, the new activation key that was generated was used to activate Recuva and Specky.
What do you dislike about CCleaner?
They have made a lot of improvements, come a long way, and are found to be one of the best products available in the market.

It simply gets the job done. For free software, it has a significant number of features. Another point I noticed over the past years I have used it is that it's relatively fast, making it easy to launch a scan every now and then.

The ability to perform a scan while the application is active. At the moment this is not possible which leads to applications being skipped and not cleaned.

Really, it's helpful. Just want to add that they should clear temporary files, history, and cache when we are browsing websites on browsers. The rest of the things are all good.

Actually, I use a laptop with 2GB of RAM. It always freezes, so killing the software and cleaning the cache helped.

I have been using CCleaner since 2010, and I have tried many other cleaning software, but CCleaner is great. You can clean anything, uninstall programs, and defrag, all for free. You can access more features with the Pro version, which costs a little, and I am enjoying it.

Best free cache, internet history, cookies, and junk cleaner. I recommend it for those whose PCs or mobile phones are slow and full of junk. It is very easy to use; however, to access its premium features, one must purchase a premium subscription.

CCleaner tops the list of free registry cleaners for several good reasons. Aside from being completely free and working with all versions of Windows, two additional things really stand out. For one, I've never had CCleaner cause a problem in the Windows Registry, which some less well-done registry repair tools do on a regular basis. And two, it's optionally available in a portable format (i.e., it doesn't need to be installed). More About CCleaner: CCleaner works with 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows 10, Windows 8 (including Windows 8.1 & Windows 8.1 Update), Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP, plus older versions of Windows as well. Two installation methods are available. The first is referred to as Installer and is a full install of CCleaner, which includes an option to also install Google Chrome and the Google Toolbar for IE. The second is the Portable version, which I recommend, and doesn't require installation at all. Pros: - Super small 6 MB download size - Installs quickly - Multiple installation options - Keeps cookies that it knows you probably don't want to delete (like webmail logins) - Unintrusive context menu addition to the Recycle Bin - Long history of regular program updates - A backup file is created before any changes to the registry are made - Killer feature set - Can avoid scanning registry keys and values you tell it to skip over - Support for a variety of Windows versions - Support for macOS 10.6 to 10.11 El Capitan - Available as an Android app Cons: - Standard download page is confusing and makes the program appear to cost money, which it does not

It has many functions that are better than the default ones in Windows. It also has an auto-monitoring feature that checks for temporary file accumulation and keeps Windows junk-free. I recommend the business edition for complete cleaning and a multitude of advanced features.
