It offers built-in security features, including firewalls, encryption, and SELinux. CentOS versions are supported for up to ten years. It requires less initial configuration than other operating systems due to its out-of-the-box security features. It’s best suited for users who don’t require a powerful processor, as it may not fully utilize high-end capabilities.
