Camtasia
Very Choppy Interface
I recently tried out Camtasia for editing videos and recording screen videos for my online courses. What I observed is that the user interface and panel of Camtasia are very choppy and have a steep learning curve for new users. There are fewer features in the software for recording screen videos. The key mapping features for automating screen recording in Camtasia are very difficult to use. We have to manually record videos using the pointer. So overall: Features - Very few compared to dedicated editing and recording software. Ease of Use - Has a lot of cluttered panels, making it hard to use. Value for Money - It has a good price but does not offer features that justify the cost. Customer Support - Customer support from the TechSmith team is good as expected.
