The best thing I like is the performance of this OS, which is better than other OSes I have used till now. Its reliable, which keeps the server safe and stable. The frequent updates are very good. The desktop version is also great.

Cons

I personally havent had any issues while using CentOS, but some users found the documentation for CentOS to be lacking in detail and completeness. Improving documentation, especially for newcomers, is crucial.

Cons

As it is open source, we need to make it secure. This is a very difficult task. Also, to install any package, we need to depend on a web-based repository that can create a threat for the server.

Cons

Ubuntu doesnt have good support for new games. Its graphic quality is not that great. Ubuntu needs to be installed manually. One needs to have good knowledge of how to run installs and basic Linux commands to install Ubuntu. It doesnt come pre-installed.

Cons

Since Ubuntu gives us more and more admin access, every negative point can be reduced to just commands, so I cant answer this.
