What do you like best about Doodly?
The most impactful feature of Doodly is that it produces fun, engaging content that encourages collaboration. I appreciate that themes of diversity were considered when designing this product, and it feels inclusive, where all races and cultures can be appreciated and represented. It supports cool animation, audio, and fun video content.
What do you dislike about Doodly?
I didnt like that there was an additional charge for adding color to the animated characters.

The best example of software that is well-designed but falters due to inexplicable selling processes. The handling is quite intuitive, and the output (exports) is easy to create and share. You can add your own graphics and drawings. All in all, it is very easy to use. If you are going to use the basics (the features that come with the initial installation), this might be the software to choose. BUT - if you want to get something from the market, you are definitely leaving your comfort zone. I have tried it several times over the last few months, hoping it would be improved one day. I am constantly getting errors at the end of the purchase process (422). Looking for a solution in the contact form, you won't find any hint regarding this problem. Contacting customer support is nearly impossible. So, I am forced to create the graphics myself. Paying 480€/year for this is, in my opinion, unacceptable.

It should improve with the preview of the video. I dont know if the issue was in the software or with my laptop, because it is a low-end laptop.

Decent software but crappy selling tactics. Unless you're really going to drop $1000 on this software, it's a hard pass. Think about the price point; they want to charge more than the entire Adobe Creative Suite. It could save some time, but the overall price for all the features is far from what they are charging for add-ons.
