A warm welcome from SoftwareSuggest, Mr. Denis Krivolapov. What is your success mantra? (Something you have followed personally that has helped you in your journey.)
Even though DXcharts is purely a B2B tool, I try to always keep in mind that there are people behind our clients' businesses, with their needs and problems that our product should solve. From the very first contact to the last integration steps, we remember that we work with people first, not just with "businesses."
Secondly, we treat everyone equally, whether you are a startup or a major bank with dozens of branches around the world. The product you receive and the quality of service are always consistent.
Could you share the inspiration behind DXcharts and how it addresses the needs of modern brokerages?
Many modern B2B web services have brilliant UX and UI, while top players in the trading platforms/tools market tend to be quite conservative. This conservatism is understandable, as their audience is accustomed to the way their products look. However, this is not where DXcharts wants to be.
Modern brokerages need to attract a new generation of traders by making their platforms' user experience comparable to that of any modern software. We focus significantly on providing charting that looks modern stylish, and is focused on delivering the best user experience for the main interaction scenarios with charts.
DXcharts recently integrated the AI assistant Devexa to enhance user support. What motivated this integration, and how has it impacted user experience?
The main goal for now is for AI to help customer development teams integrate DXcharts into their apps. It isn't always possible to cover every case in the documentation, so we have trained Devexa on dozens of different integration scenarios, and it continues to learn. We expect it to help find better and quicker ways to integrate DXcharts into clients' products.
The next step in this integration is to create more synergy between the chart and AI, which will improve the trading experience.
With the financial industry rapidly evolving, how does DXcharts stay ahead regarding innovation and meeting client demands?
This largely concerns the focus on UX; technical analysis should not be complicated. If you need a manual for the interface, it is likely that the team behind the product has missed something. If it takes you more than 5 minutes to understand the basic functions, it’s also a sign that you and your product are not modern.
We have a large amount of qualitative and quantitative data to make charts increasingly user-friendly and comprehensible for the younger generation of traders.
Most users come for basic scenarios, and these should be perfect; you don’t have much time to capture the user's attention.
Could you discuss a significant challenge you faced during the development of DXcharts and how your team overcame it?
Our daily task is to make the DXcharts library flexible enough to be easily integrated into any platform and to make it look natural there. We also strive to remember that each of our clients tries to introduce some new feature to the product, and we must provide them with this opportunity.
When we create new features on our end, we always keep in mind our current users, who may have different visions than ours, so the charts must remain flexible for them as well. This is always a complex engineering task that we are not hesitant to spend time on.
What are the key features of DXcharts that differentiate it from other financial charting libraries in the market?
- Whitelabel - All our clients can put their logo on the chart for free. That is a great and free promotion tool for them.
- Flexibility - You can make DXcharts look unique and different, which in this case will make your product stand out.
- Data Agnostic - We do not require clients to use our market data sources; the chart can work with any of them. This is a huge advantage for all of our clients.
How do you foresee the role of AI and machine learning evolving in financial charting tools?
We have already discussed the topic of how AI can help those who integrate charts. If we talk about traders, I think the most important thing for them is the accuracy of predicting the future, which they can do using charts. For professionals, AI offers the opportunity to obtain more accurate forecasts based on a larger amount of data, as AI capabilities far surpass the human brain.
For non-professionals and the younger generation, trading can be one of the ways to get a dopamine rush on par with TikTok, YouTube, and other social networks. The role of AI will be to simplify technical analysis and reduce the number of actions that need to be done manually. This will help attract new people to trading, for whom the potential complexity of technical analysis is intimidating.
Devexperts has expanded its presence globally, including plans to open an office in Dubai. How does this expansion align with your vision for DXcharts?
Dubai is one of the central hubs in the MENA region, allowing close contact with existing and potential new clients. We see many startups emerging from there. Startups are the company formats that transform the future, so by being in touch and close contact with them, we are more likely to predict how fintech will look and what place charts will have in it.
What advice would you give to aspiring product managers aiming to make a mark in the fintech industry?
Product marketing is now the most important thing. We are at a level of technical development where we can create anything. Work closely with your marketing team, regularly exchange knowledge about users, and test new channels together. Don't focus solely on new features. Feedback from your clients can shape your marketing strategy, and vice versa—what you can achieve in marketing should influence your product strategy.
Don't forget to work with data (both quantitative and qualitative). A single interview with real users can provide several valuable insights. Use analytics at least at a basic level, to understand how users interact with the product; there will always be surprises.
Looking ahead, what exciting developments or features can users expect from DXcharts shortly?
Shortly, we want to focus on improving the usability of charts for mobile web users. We have separate charts for iOS and Android applications, but as we see from our analytics, many users prefer web solutions and don't want to download anything. Brokers also notice this. Our web charts will be maximally adaptive to any screen resolution.
In the medium term, we want to create a user-friendly scripting language for custom indicators. We've had several approaches to this solution before, but now we have more data to make a truly convenient tool both for those who will integrate it (dev teams) and for the end-users.
In the longer term, there will be more synergy with AI tools and various types of automation. I wouldn't like to reveal too much about this yet.

What's great about the product is that it provides everything we need for a fraction of the price that other industry leaders charge. It's a real steal right now; I guess we were lucky to stumble upon it before it goes viral.
