Here's the comprehensive description of Focus ERP. Gain a brief understanding of its unique features and exceptional benefits.
Focus ERP is a comprehensive enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution that connects all aspects of your company's operations. It records and keeps all of your essential company data on a single database, from production to supply chain, customer relationship management to inventory and human resources. The application focuses more on data, information, and process agility, as well as the ability to respond to a fast-paced and turbulent corporate environment.
Focus ERP is an AI-enabled ERP software that has the ability to increase control over disrupted and broken financial processes, simplify identifying the proper vendors, make forecasting simple, and improve other company processes to achieve better growth and development.
As the company grows, so does its workload. Along with it increases the complexity for the staff that manages it. Initially, the organization expedites with spreadsheets and emails. But eventually, the monotony of manual logistics will harm the business operations. Moreover, the incompetence to meet customer demands would ultimately impact the business adversely in its key growth phase.
In order to prevent your company from falling prey to such a scenario, it becomes crucial to invest in an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. Its ability to bring together all discordant business processes on a single platform helps businesses streamline their operations and be agile.
With a vast knowledge base and a keen understanding of what it takes to run and grow a business, Focus Softnet developed Focus ERP – a future-ready next-generation ERP solution that re-engineers business processes while optimizing resources.

Without further ado, let’s delve deeper into this end-to-end ERP suite!
Salient Features of Focus ERP
As soon as you log into your Focus ERP portal, you will be welcomed with an intuitive dashboard as below:
The dashboard is a visual representation of different dashlets, reports, or statistics that the user wants to look at when he logs into the system. However, Focus ERP offers a set of dashboards that can be configured and customized per the user's needs and roles.
The dashboard is pretty interactive and dynamic and showcases real-time information. Moreover, it supports drag-and-drop functionality. Besides, double-clicking a specific entity drill you down to its document-level value. Hence, you can access all the important information right from your dashboard.
On the left-hand side panel, you will see a list of modules you can navigate seamlessly. Again, this list varies (i.e., the modules are enabled/disabled) based on the services/plans you purchase and also your user role. For instance, an admin will have access to all the modules, whereas the sales manager will be able to view only the modules that he is permitted to by the admin.
1. Home
You can navigate different general menus here, including Company, Security, Masters, Data Management, and Utilities. Under the company and security menus, you can create users, roles and put definitions for settings, passwords, submitting reports, and more. Under Masters, you will see a list of menus, depending on the modules. You can add/delete sub-masters accordingly.

-

In conversation with Ali Hyder, CEO at Focus Softnet
How long have you been working with this product?
Focus Softnet’s suite of products has been in development and evolution for a period of close to 3 decades. Over the past 28 years, we have rolled out various versions, updates, upgrades, and products in the space of Digital Transformation of Business Administration Systems such as ERP, CRM, Manufacturing, Retail and Trade, Warehousing, and many more.
The tech stack has evolved across platforms from the MS-DOS era into today’s cloud environments.
What is the most interesting thing about your job?
As a tech vendor, we are in a privileged position to work with a wide variety of businesses across an equally diverse landscape of industries.
Almost on a daily basis, we encounter new challenges and are tasked with providing solutions for them. Getting to work with our innovative team spread globally, and working with clients across industries to learn about their pain points and then provide solutions that become industry-standard templates for others would definitely rank amongst the most interesting aspects of what we do.
The process of innovation involves a myriad of steps that we undertake, including problem discovery, solution design, prototyping, considering and handling various scenarios, and then building a strategy for resolution. This journey then matures into the execution phase, where our innovative teams build and augment our current plethora of solutions and enrich our portfolio of offerings, thereby making them the “Go-To” solutions for the industries to which we cater.
Are there any ideological principles that your organization follows to maintain the brand value?
The core philosophy of our organization revolves around producing user-friendly, aesthetically pleasing applications with enough flexibility to meet a wide range of vertical-specific demands. This has been the cornerstone around which each one of our enterprise applications is built.
This, undoubtedly, has tremendous advantages.
The skills needed to deploy, administer, and use our systems are, therefore, greatly reduced, bringing digital transformation into the reach of virtually any business, whether they slot themselves as SMEs or corporates.
As such, the return on investment that we are able to provide to our clients in terms of system acquisition, and ongoing systems utilization resource costs are kept low.
Considering the pace at which the SaaS market is growing, how important is it to keep innovating to stay in the game?
The old adage of “the only constant is change” is particularly true for the IT industry. Businesses are rapidly evolving in how they operate. Business ethos and values are continually changing. Moreover, their demands on tech and going the digital way are rapidly rising.
Businesses are continually moving towards “Systemic Intelligence” as opposed to “Individualistic Intelligence,” and thereby, the demands for standardized, on-demand, real-time tech access is becoming more and more relevant.
Now, more than ever, mobility is a key component to digital business governance, and cloud solutions deployed on mobile devices with pay-as-you-go SaaS licensing is rapidly becoming the norm.
Incidentally, our organization has always been at the helm of paradigm-shifting innovation. We were amongst the first to roll out ERP solutions in the pre-windows era. Moreover, on the DOS-based platforms, we were amongst the very first solutions providers, who built a GUI-based interface for our users. That legacy stands strong today, and we remain at the cutting-edge of technology innovation and are already SaaS-enabled and have embraced cloud and mobility platforms.
It is our opinion that the SaaS explosion has only just begun and that rapidly we will see a huge spike in SaaS businesses worldwide. In fact, this will be even more applicable in the current situation of global affairs.
What is one thing that puts your product apart from the crowd?
The “keep it simple” formula has been at the core of our innovation strategy, and our applications are the embodiment of that philosophy. Both from an end-user perspective (our UI for end-users makes this application extremely easy to use), and from an implementation and support perspective, (our no-code customization interface encompasses extremely powerful customization and “personalization” capabilities that make our ERP the best “fit” for our customers) that our plethora of solutions stand apart from the already busy IT solutions space.
How would you define "a successful product"?
A product that is simple and easy to use as well as implement, that can scale as the business evolves and the needs grow, and that is easily customizable and integration-friendly with various tech platforms in the market, serving customers over a long period of time, would be defined as a successful product.
In simple terms, it needs to become a mandatory part of the business’ infrastructure of administration.
What exciting is coming up from your side in 2020?
We are on the cusp of bringing the future into the “now” with a deep dive into Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Robotic Process Automation (RPA). The future demands of businesses will evolve from systems that provide administration governance tools to businesses, into more of a digital assistant with intelligence fed to the administration, as well as with automating routine, albeit critical and sensitive tasks that would traditionally require expensive human resources.
What helps you stay updated, interested, and inspired?
As an individual, I tend to be very hands-on and involved in the core aspects of our customers’ needs. It has provided me the opportunity to learn and innovate with a highly motivated and energetic team of exceptional individuals within our organization. The ability to transform customers’ pain areas through our innovation and technology, and to receive that acknowledgement of customer satisfaction has been a key motivating factor that has driven our organization to great heights.
We are proud to operate in over 18 countries worldwide and look forward to continued growth and expansion
