Its very stable VPN app also gets connected in slow-speed internet, very useful for office use. As a Fortinet company, it provides higher security for our data. Bottom Line: FortiClient can be used to provide vulnerability scanning and configure outbound VPN connections. Given that it's designed to be used as an endpoint to an Enterprise Management Service (EMS), users shouldn't expect too much in the way of features and customizations, but it's a more-than-workable solution.

Most of our employees use third-party apps to connect to their computers and perform remote work. We use Fortinet as a firewall to add an extra layer of security for them. Now, they have an app at home to access their files on the main server without problems.

I mainly use FortiClient for the VPN connection from my home to the company where I work. It is an easy-to-use, configure, and maintain VPN client. It is constantly updated, and the VPN option consumes few resources on the laptop.
What do you dislike about FortiClient?
As a negative point of the FortiClient security solution, the excessive use of computer resources, if all modules are installed, negatively affects the memory and processor. It is recommended to install the application on medium-high or high-end equipment.
