We need not empty our pockets for legacy systems anymore. SaaS tools like Freshservice can do wonders. It's as simple as setting up your social accounts and you need not depend on an external vendor to scale the system. The company makes sure that the tool is updated and it's always your choice to enable those features or not.

Though FreshService has helped us to streamline the IT service desk management of our organization, the disappointment that it brings with its reporting tools can be overlooked. The software lacks a lot in this filed. However, it is very easy to use and the training provided by the company is also useful. Still, there are many areas which need to be worked upon.
User-friendly and advanced integration. A great tool for maintaining automated service records. Comes with robust API integration.
A great disappointment comes from its below-standard reporting tools. It is hardly effective in this field.

If your organization is ITIL based then FreshService would be a great help to manage your service desk. Its service catalog feature is commendable which allows you to track the activities in each stage. Though the mobile app is a nice addition, it hardly makes any difference. It’s quite buggy and stops abruptly in the middle of something.
Handles various tasks simultaneously, maintains service catalog, come with a mobile app support system and fully automated operating system.
The app is quite buggy and its reporting features are also very limited. Alongside, the dashboard is not so informative.

Freshservice has been the most promising software that I have ever used. My experience started with the demo pack which resulted in buying a monthly plan which was sooner changed with a yearly pack.
