I swing trade tech stocks and hold positions for days at a time, and from that perspective, the platform and the software are top-tier. The charting tools are great. I wish the watchlist customisation were more flexible, at first I didn't even know I could do that for assets I like. Alerts work reliably, though in the window, which matters a lot to me.

What do you like best about Fxcess?
The quality fo the desktop software. It's an impressive suite, despite it not weighing a ton. The amount of indicators alone is superb. And its free, too (on demo acc at least). Tradingview - you have to pay a sub fee, to get 1/5 of the features here
What do you dislike about Fxcess?
I would work on the app. You can trade with Fxcess on the mobile app through the MT4 software, but I tried that and didnt like it, its also not personal enough, its general MT4. When you're not glued to the screen all day, it matters.
What features is Fxcess currently missing?
Aside from the app, maybe copytrading can be tried. Otherwise, for our purposes, the software provided worked great.

My trading journey began with this broker. I chose it because my friends told me about their platform. They mentioned their demo would be a good spot to start trading. I registered my demo account after and have been doing demo trading every day (in addition, I've also started live trading recently). Demo is good enough. Though not totally identical, it offered conditions that are very close to the real ones. Trading with real money is different anyway. For that, the TC tools they offer have been quite helpful.

What do you like best about Fxcess?
They have great trading central tools, especially the featured ides - I started to exploit that regularly, very helpful.
What do you dislike about Fxcess?
They can lower the deposit for using tc tools or increase the trial period for up to a week.
What features is Fxcess currently missing?
I can't say I've spotted something critical that I needed from them. One minor change they could make is to update their blog section. The last articles are dated the beginning of January.

I feel it's been almost 2 years or so as I began my trades on their platform, and so far my current experience with them has been pretty good. I'm doing majors, gold, and some stocks. And as many did, I started with a demo before going in with real money. Demo was worth it because it helped me get the sense of my strategies, how and when to make my entries, and what to apply to my charts to detect any possible patterns. After that, I registered my classic account, and so far it's been decent. Can't say I'm super productive, but overall it's good. Flexible leverage comes in handy.
