We have not used the budgeting functionality extensively yet. At first glance, it seemed less directly aligned with the specific financial reporting structure we use for our projects. However, this may simply require further exploration.

More advanced budgeting customization for grant-based projects.

I’ve used it to map out multiple projects, and it’s been invaluable for ensuring that key milestones and deadlines are never missed. The interface is intuitive, allowing timelines to be easily modified and colour-coded according to progress, which provides a clear visual snapshot of each project’s status. One of the most useful features is the ability to assign specific tasks to team members, improving accountability and workflow transparency. I also appreciate the live link-sharing option, which can be kept private — this makes it simple to share real-time updates with principal investigators so they can track project progress and stay informed about upcoming deadlines. Overall, GanttPRO has significantly improved our team’s organization and communication, making project management much more streamlined.
