Google Hangouts is a decent tool for facilitating communication and collaboration with ease. It helps users engage in instant messaging, file sharing, video meetings, etc. It is beneficial for quick contact using text, emojis, GIFs, and video calls on the go. It has a clean interface and is relatively easy to navigate as well. Additionally, it allows users to set their status according to their availability, get desktop notifications and email notifications, choose between light and dark themes, etc. I am looking forward to seeing new features added to it.

What do you like best about Google Hangouts?
Google Hangouts is easy to use and understand. It is good for quick communication, file sharing, etc. It also makes it easy to start individual and group video calls on the go and invite others to join.
What do you dislike about Google Hangouts?
It is impossible to know when a certain person was last active on Google Hangouts. At least I wasn’t able to figure out that part. Also, there is a limit to the characters that can be sent in a text, which can be annoying at times. I hope these two features can be improved.

Last seen is one feature that is missing in Google Hangouts.
What other products like Google Hangouts have you used or evaluated?
I have used Whatsapp, Viber, and Telegram.
How Google Hangouts is better/different from its competitors?
I find Google Hangouts to be completely different and certainly not as engaging in terms of interface. They have a lot of features that Google Hangouts still lack.

It has made it much easier to manage my texts. The customer service is great, and all my messages are in one place. I wouldn't change my messaging company at all since this one is so great.

Nowadays, due to the pandemic, most organizations have to allow work from home for their employees. In this case, communication between each employee and among the team needs to be more frequent. Google Hangouts provides a good base for this purpose. It's easy to use with good feature sets like group hangouts, video calls, emojis, and more.

I use it because most users have a Gmail ID, and Hangouts is one of the best communication apps for sharing links and files. We can also use it for personal and professional messaging, similar to email. It offers great features like group chat and calls.

Service is excellent; customer support responds very quickly. For a case raised, you will receive an acknowledgment within 4 hours. Even the instruction manual or help page is self-explanatory, so you can look and troubleshoot by yourself.

I have not had any issues or problems with this software at all; I enjoy using it to this very day. In fact, one day when my personal phone's battery was dead, I needed to get a hold of my mother, but I did not have any minutes left on my secondary cell phone. So, I was able to use the store's Wi-Fi to get onto Google Hangouts and contact my mother. It has been very helpful and useful for me.

The ability to locate the contact you want to send a message to, the ease of navigating, and the speed of messaging.

I would have to say the look of it; I think it looks outdated.
