Google Slides is about as advanced as PowerPoint was in the late '90s. If you are looking for simple and free, this is a good deal, but it does not have the features and benefits of even Microsoft, which is in a similar category to Slides.

Google Slides is many versions behind MS; it is similar to the PPT from the late 90s. There are too many improvements needed to let you know in a quick message. There is a market for this type of product as it is.

Background manipulation so that I could bring a picture and adjust the transparency. Add multiple soundtracks, seamless transition from video to slides and back.

Google Slides is very useful software that anyone can use for making projects. It's free, and its features make group projects much easier. Slides saved me a lot of time in high school, and I believe anyone in any field can use it to make presenting much less of a hassle.

Google Slides helps me prepare my presentations and documents and edit different templates to my satisfaction. It contains features that allow me to add and remove pages and pictures, and delete whatever I feel is unnecessary in my slides. It's very easy to use, even for beginners.

I can easily sign in to Google Slides with my email address, get my work and presentations done very fast, and save them. It is very nice. I can easily prepare my slides and even connect to other Google applications.

Good, very smooth experience suitable for professional use. Never disappoints—straight to the slides without any dragging or extra material. Easy to understand and use by multiple people. Good features. Google Slides is the best truly free presentation app you'll find, strong on collaboration and with a few special touches. It doesn't have as many effects as PowerPoint or Keynote, and you can't export your final product into a video. But it's a reliable app for creating slide decks.

Google Slides is an excellent program that Google offers for free. This program helps you organize information easily. It is very similar to Microsoft's PowerPoint, but it has the advantage of being completely online, with all changes to a presentation saved automatically. All the information is stored on your Google Drive, and the same presentation can be edited by multiple people simultaneously from different computers.

For individuals who travel frequently to meet customers, Google Slides is a boon. It allows them to create presentable presentations that can be accessed in real-time by their managers. Additionally, it is integrated with Google Drive, Docs, and other services, making it versatile across various interfaces. The secure sharing feature with clients is one of the best aspects of Google Slides. An offline version should be developed by Google.
What do you like best about Google Slides?
Google does a commendable job in providing Slides features on the Cloud. I am heavily using Google Slides as it helps me a lot in preparing presentations on the go. My executive drafts the slides which I can access online from Google Slides and, if required, can edit/redesign as per my requirements. The changes which I make are also shared with my staff. I can add/remove any slide, add transitions, etc., like MS Office PowerPoint. All changes are readily saved on the Cloud. I can share it with my collaborators. I just connect the projector to my PC and the slides start to present.
What do you dislike about Google Slides?
Using Google Slides requires an internet connection, so when theres no internet, you cant edit. However, the offline saving feature enables you to save the file. Adding animations and transitions sometimes takes time due to its cloud nature. Otherwise, all other features work perfectly.

Overall, I've had a very positive experience with Google Slides. I think I would prefer Google Slides to PowerPoint, especially because you can access your project from anywhere since it is on your Google Drive. However, you cannot add to it when you are offline because the changes won't save. Still, it is a great tool for collaborating with others or just sharing your work and presentations, so I would definitely recommend this product. It is cloud-based, so it can be updated across multiple platforms at any time. It is constantly being saved. It is easy to integrate features from across your Google Drive account (images, graphs, etc.). You can share it with your collaborators with different permissions available (i.e., View, Edit, Comment). It is also easy to export a presentation to PDF.
What do you like best about Google Slides?
Included with a G Suite account (if you have Gmail or Drive, you have access to Slides). Full-featured presentation software with all the tools required to create slides. Easy and intuitive to get started, with adequate default slide layouts.
What do you dislike about Google Slides?
I dont think there is anything negative to say or any cons about this software. It has all the same features as PowerPoint, including templates, themes, and adding special effects, images, or anything else.
