Incompetent

My new employer uses them and their work was ridiculous. They ran a criminal history check in a city I'd never even heard of, much less been to, but not in 2 states that their records accurately showed I've lived. They listed a previous address as being across the street from where I was living, the address doesn't even exist. They did oddly have the correct address too. On top of this I ended up having to send them w2s and paystubs for both of the previous employers they actually checked to prove my work history. Because they didn't do their job properly. I've been through many background checks over the years and never had to do anything beyond sign a form authorizing it. Much less fill out form after form detailing my life history. To say nothing of then having to do the work of proving my history for them. This company is a bad joke. I'm just relieved that the result of their incompetency shouldn't have any negative impact on my job.
