Online integration has been a nightmare, and every weekend, I actually lost money. Order delivery executives would come to pick up orders we hadn't seen. The result was a lot of lost business. Apparently, orders are not relayed in real-time, or maybe their integration server cannot handle weekend loads. They also sold us software for tablet order taking. In the entire 6-9 months that we used their software, we were never sure if KOTs had actually printed in the kitchen. Their reports module is horrifying and not GST compliant. Our accounts had a lot of problems with it. The best part is that during the whole duration we were users, no one even tried to fix the problems we were having. It gives me the feeling they are a defunct company or don't know how to run their business.

I must say that Limetray helped us expand our restaurant business online. For a new online restaurant start-up, it handles ordering well in all respects. However, third-party collaboration needs to be more advanced at certain levels. It's a great way to save operational costs.
What do you like best about Limetray - Restaurant Management?
Alert you the moment a customer places an order. In-app push notifications keep you updated with each activity. Easy table reservation system with detailed reporting of reserved and unserved tables.

Third-party reconciliation needs to be more detailed. We have faced a few issues with certain vendors while receiving online orders.

Limtray is a great POS system for mid-level restaurants. Its omni-channel online order management is quite impressive. However, we find its customer engagement features a little less efficient. We lost track of a few customers with a slow server. Push notifications need to be timelier. You can easily send customized campaigns to the customers and retain them easily.

Though I am full of praise for the reporting of Lime Tray, I would like to see better third-party collaboration. The POS works excellently with our in-house customers, but it lacks dependability at some levels when it comes to online ordering.

Limetray POS is a great option if you are a mid-scale or start-up restaurant business, as its modules are quite limited in comparison to other POS software. However, it is a great deal in its category. It offers a lot to start-ups and helps them save on operational costs.

Robust API, web-based deployment system, one-time payment system. Reporting is fast and accurate.

There is no mobile support, which limits its functionality. In addition, we had a tough time working on it when the inventory list was being made. Inventory management should be more efficient.

Limetray has significantly helped Little Chef improve operational efficiency. This industry is changing rapidly, and with online food ordering, you need systems that reduce multitasking efforts. Limetray has integrated various platforms into one system, converting many manual interventions into automated ones. Little Chef has three outlets and plans to open around four more this year. Without a robust system like Limetray, managing such expansions would be difficult.

POS has been a godsend for us. It has moved us from the ancient practice of keeping and managing written records to a super-efficient way of managing everything online. From daily order records to gathering month-long data, from comparing monthly revenues to tracking unsettled revenues, POS has made life infinitely easier, especially with the advent of GST. But the best part by far is the ease with which the software can be learned by professionals of all ranks; that speaks volumes about the quality of the technology.
