Live Blog Pros and Cons
Pros
"We decided to use liveblog because we needed a professional platform that we could rely on for our independent journalism activities. The fact that liveblog is backed up by SourceFabric delivers the reliability we need as we improve our technical requirements. We like that LiveBlog can be embedded into our website by using the html code, it is quite easy the integration. We also like the step forward procedure for embedding posts from all major social networks which is especially important for us since we are very active on them. One of the most important aspects we like about LiveBlog is also its simplicity and quality of the user interface and management system. Our collaborators have unique access to the system so they can publish the content independently, first submitting them for editorial review, later for direct publishing. It has a responsive design, which delivers a good-looking design on both, desktop and mobile. Technical support is awesome, they answer questions almost immediately and solve technical issues within a short time frame."
"Extremely easy to use, very intuitive"
Cons
"LiveBlog behaves like an infinite scroll blog. It works really well with Android; however, we have found some issues while working with iPhone, for example, when we share a link of an entry, the user is supposed to be positioned on the selected entry; on iPhone the user is always located at the top of the blog, in the most recent entry. A backup feature for all the posts could also be useful, as well as more text-editing features, e.g., highlighting, text to tweet, h1 to h6 formats. Commenting about the posts/entries sharing capabilities, currently, when clicking on the button to share a post, the general image of the blog is displayed, like the logo, not the image of the specific post, adding such a feature could be very attractive right now as we share most of our content on social networks."
"It could offer more custom design options, cause for a freelancer like me who wants to use it on his site without any coding knowledge it's difficult to customize it"

A professional journalism software for live blogging with state-of-the-art social networks integration
We really like LiveBlog because it is a software designed for professional journalism. Most important we like the fact that SourceFabric develops it. We know we can rely on them for our journalism strategy, e.g., liveblogging, internet radio, etc.
