Powerful Data Visualization and BI Tool with Flexible Integrations
Looker is a modern Business Intelligence (BI) software platform that is very flexible and very good at data analysis and visualization. It stands out by providing the feature of integrating with several data sources so that teams can inspect and model the data in real time with little or no complex querying. The available dashboards and the general work environment are intuitive, hence appropriate for both technical and non-technical personnel, whereas LookML offers deeper levels of customization. On the downside, the platform could challenge smaller companies without dedicated data teams in terms of the LookML learning curve and platform costs. All in all, Looker is suitable for companies that require in-depth data analysis as well as practical and easily deployable analytics.

What do you like best about Looker Studio?
A great strength of Looker in its usage is the interactive nature of its data exploration features; data can quickly be accessed, rendered, and acted upon in real-time. It is worth mentioning its capacity to link to many different data sources.
What do you dislike about Looker Studio?
There is a steep learning curve, especially around the LookML tool. Although LookML offers a wide array of features for customization, sufficient technical skills are required.
What features is Looker Studio currently missing?
Offering out of the box integrations with third-party applications which Looker seems to lack as compared to BI tools like Power BI and Tableau would be an improvement. Secondly, while the Looker’s visualizations are good, there is room for introducing more complexity for visuals to be created without coding, which is a strong suit of competitors like Tableau.

What do you like best about Looker Studio?
The filtering, scheduling, and sharing of dashboards in PDF, CSV, and Excel make it an amazing tool. It is very useful when it comes to analyzing the data and creating interactive visualizations on a dashboard.
What do you dislike about Looker Studio?
The Looker team could improve the handling of large data sets as it becomes very slow. Also, it would be better if Looker provides more flexibility to customize the inbuilt visualizations.

Missing feature includes connecting it with different data sources and adding tooltip of your own to any Visualisation of looker.
What other products like Looker Studio have you used or evaluated?
I evaluated PowerBI and Tableau but the pricing is high.
How Looker Studio is better/different from its competitors?
Looker is far more better than the other competitors as it's owned by Google and the pricing is quite affordable as comapred to Tableau and Microsoft PowerBI. Also, it offers the similar features and provides a large number of users within the same price range.
