I used to spend hours putting together board packets, saving each document as a PDF, and then arranging them into one PDF document to email around. The document was sometimes so large that board members' servers rejected it. If something changed just before the meeting, I had to distribute more documents. Now, I can get the packet ready but keep adding to or fixing it, and it takes me a quarter of the time. Board members find it easier to access, even the stodgier ones.
