It processes microphone audio locally and provides the cleaned signal through a virtual microphone to apps such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Discord, Slack, OBS, and other software that lets you select a microphone input.
Noise Blocker 3 is a ground-up rebuild that uses automatic AI noise cancellation to reduce keyboard and mouse clicks, computer fans, hiss, and room noise without requiring recorded noise samples or manual filter training. It also includes voice activation, loudness equalisation, a configurable noise gate, live input and output monitoring, and push-to-talk, push-to-mute, and push-to-toggle shortcuts.
The app can be downloaded and tried without creating an account or providing an email address. The free version includes 30 minutes of noise blocking each week. A paid personal licence is a one-time purchase that unlocks unlimited use and includes 12 months of updates and priority support. The eligible installed version continues working after the update period ends, and renewal is optional. Noise Blocker supports Windows 10 and Windows 11.
