It is the best customer service platform i have ever used. It has options of different support processes as well.We can utlize LiveChat/Omnichannel.We can have option of showing knowledge article as well at the time of case creation.Salesforce itself provides option to create Case via email/web form.You can record chat transcripts as well.I would say if you want your customers to be happy get please purchase this service cloud.

Google cloud i had done exploration but it took lots of customization to do in comparison to Salesforce

First this it is on cloud,you can setup SLAs,live chat,case management things .The best part of Salesforce service cloud is you can have all customer information at one place.Within Salesforce itself you can setup self service portals so that case deflection increases which would save your cost
