We are a pharmaceutical company, and before implementing SAP, stock management, inter-departmental, and external purchases and transfers were done manually, which took a lot of time. However, after implementing SAP, the work has become much easier and more efficient. Currently, raw material management, consumables management, and purchases are all handled using SAP.

What do you like best about SAP?
The user interface and ease of use for beginners are well optimized in SAP. Tracking the raw material stock and consumable stock has become super easy after implementing SAP. Also, creating and assigning product codes and generating bills is easy.
What do you dislike about SAP?
SAP really has good potential to become a commonly used software in the pharmaceutical industry. But, for that, an aggressive price drop in the software should be done to make it affordable for small-scale pharmaceutical industries.
What features is SAP currently missing?
SAP is the first software I'm using in this category. So, I have no other software experience to compare with. As far as I know SAP is the industry leader in this category.

It's easy to use and understand. Just a few transaction codes and you are good with it. There are many functional modules in a single business suite. Modules like MM, SCM, HR, FICO, Basis, QM, PP, SD, ABAP, etc.

SAP has always been less time-consuming with high production value of work, ease of access, and everything based on T-CODES. You log in, and everything is right there. SAP is used in every corner of our organization, and I believe there is no alternative for my financial work.

We use SAP to pull our gross profit analyses as well as revenue summaries for our monthly numbers.
