Overall, I really enjoy the fact that Slack makes instant communication easy. The platform itself is great, and in my opinion, far better than Teams. In my last role, we used Microsoft Teams, and I was so excited to move back to Slack when I joined my current company. The platform itself has a much better user experience. From an employee perspective, it really has made my day-to-day life easier and more enjoyable.

What I like most about Slack is the ability to connect multiple channels with specific groups of people both inside and outside my organization. It makes it very easy to network by topic and get quick, expert advice.

I dont find any major downsides to Slack, but I do believe theres some room for improvement in the notifications part. Sometimes I miss some texts in the channel because of too many messages, and Slack doesnt give continuous notifications.

I've been using Slack for about 1.5 years and found it easy to use and onboard. However, it lacks a feature for nesting comments in threads, and notifications can be unreliable, especially in 'Do Not Disturb' mode. Sharing media in bulk is challenging, and navigating through piled messages in a channel can be difficult. Despite these drawbacks, Slack is a great app for work purposes, as it operates efficiently with less bandwidth and is effective for communication.
