We introduced Square POS as a way for us to monitor sales in real time and enable customers to have multiple payment options. One of the reasons we chose it is because it is easy to set up and the learning curve for staff was short as the user interface itself is intuitive once you get the hang of it. The good thing about Square POS is it is not chunky and old fashioned like many POS solutions on the market today, instead it works as a payment platform that allows you to do sales on a mobile app that is installed on an iPad. While we found Square POS as a great fit in one of our businesses, we feel that the lack of modularity for options makes it difficult to use in the services industry thus limiting its use to mostly industries where physical goods are sold.
