Great for basic sites but lacks the sophistiction of its competitors
We used Wix to design our website in 2021. The interface was incredibly easy to use; the drag and drop feature was a huge plus, as none of us are very savvy with website builders. It helped us create our site in less than two weeks which was great. But it also doesn't support thousands of plugins like WordPress, which has negatively affected our SEO efforts as we can't get tools like Yoast that would have made our job a lot easier.

Yes, it doesn't let us change the size of the images which makes them look odd on some mobile devices
What other products like Wix have you used or evaluated?
We also evaluted Wordpress but it looked very complicated and we decided not to risk it.

GoDaddy is another similar software like Wix, but the GoDaddy website builder has fewer features in comparison to Wix, and the price is also extremely high than Wix.

Wix offers more features in less price and also requires less effort to set up the website, so clearly which makes Wix better.

Love how easy Wix is for beginners!
Wix's templates all look designer and really up to date with the latest trends. I love how easy it is to use - for someone like me with no tech experience, it was a dream! My only criticism would be how overwhelming the choice is when you first open up the editor.
What do you like best about Wix?
I think the standout thing with Wix is just how easy it is to use. I was a beginner with no coding knowledge or tech experience and I found it so easy to get to grips with. Its template selection is also particularly impressive, with hundreds of really stylish dsigns that I could never build from scratch myself!
What do you dislike about Wix?
Wix can feel a little overwhelming at first - even though it's really easy, when the editor first opens up you're faced with all these customization options, design tools, featues, apps, and more and it can take a little while to find your way around. I also think a $14 per month starter plan is a bit expensive!
