Crowd Vox

After using Crowd Vox for more than a year, I did not opt to upgrade to the latest version for a long time as I thought it would not benefit my setup. However, I later took a chance. I do not regret my decision, as I am now using the locations feature for better management. Blogs are of no use to me, but the theme customizer is giving me some flexibility, as I am not technical at all.

It has been more than two years since I started using Crowd Vox. I have seen features being enhanced by their team, although I would expect faster release cycles. After a couple of major customizations done by my team and the development of mobile apps, I am now going to use the script for one of the key domains that we have been maintaining for years, which has been one of our main sources of revenue. Keeping our fingers crossed.

I have been using this script for three years and have been quite satisfied with the progress my site has made over this period. Recently, the hosting server upgraded the PHP version to 7, causing my existing site to stop working, which was shocking to discover. I had to contact the Crowd Vox team; they explained the reasons and helped me with the upgrade, as they also have their latest version compatible with PHP 7. With the upgrade, the performance has increased many-fold, and I also have some new features like blogs and activity (although not included by default). I also purchased the mobile apps, and they are simple yet have most of the features one would expect.

I have been using Crowd Vox for two years. Initially, I wanted to create a directory that could provide access to all the information one needs on local vendors. With the Enterprise license of Crowd Vox and a bit of help from their team, I was able to achieve what I needed. Over time, I have witnessed a couple of releases, and the product has improved not only in terms of UI but also with new features that make it a good choice (perfect for me). I will start with the earlier release that introduced a responsive theme along with features like deals and events, which made me stick to the script. Then came mobile apps and the recent release that provides the ability to manage locations in a much easier manner, along with a pretty theme customizer. Overall, I have actually seen an increase in the number of visitors to my site over the past couple of years, and I receive appreciative comments from them. That is more of a reward for me. In short, Crowd Vox has now proven to be a perfect choice for me. Best of luck!
