Best value 2D design option
I was using DraftSight for the few 2D jobs I had—mostly I work in 3D, so it's not worth buying an expensive 2D license. DraftSight stopped being free, so I needed an alternative. I tried a bunch, but they were either clunky to use, limited in features, or expensive, until I found nanoCAD. There are a couple of usability differences from AutoCAD and DraftSight, but overall, it does everything I need quickly and easily, and I'm not paying through the nose.
