TIA Portal is a PLC programming software for Siemens PLCs. It is a perfect software for ladder logic development. It is easy to use and has a great user interface.

What do you like best about TIA Portal?
It has inbuilt OPC creation and, most importantly, we can program all Siemens PLCs and HMIs in a single software.
What do you dislike about TIA Portal?
There are a lot of features that dont work properly; most importantly, there is no option to upload an HMI program, which I think is the biggest flaw of this.
