IntelliJ IDEA has everything to offer that a modern IDE should have. I've been using it for a couple of years for Java, Spring Boot, and JS development, and the IDE has been very helpful. Features like call hierarchy, method search, code completion, and extensions are some of the cool features you get used to after using it for some time. I've also noticed some minor bugs, but they get fixed with new releases. Other IDE users might have to Google for shortcuts in the initial days, or you might also tweak them if you wish to.

Extensions fulfilling various needs, search options, call hierarchy, remote Git integration, and code completion.
What do you dislike about IntelliJ IDEA?
Installing multiple versions of Tomcat and customizing it according to needs is much easier in other IDEs like Eclipse.

Nothing major that I came across so far. Usually there is a plugin for everything.

IntelliJ IDEA is productive and has a layout of features in an intuitive way to use, allowing you to hit the ground running quickly. I used Eclipse in the past, which was good, but IntelliJ IDEA took it to an even higher level.

What do you like best about IntelliJ IDEA?
- The AI assistant integration was a game-changer, as it can auto-generate simple code structures and blocks. Remote collaboration and development allow us to receive inputs from other developers on the go. Syntax now also highlights code improvement tips.
What do you dislike about IntelliJ IDEA?
With the advanced features, the hardware requirements have increased as well. It no longer works on machines with less than 8GB of RAM. Running a mobile simulator with low disk space is also not possible.

A lightweight variant such as VS Code would be great!
