SMS-iT was built as a result of feedback we received from customers, when we launched the beta version of iNbox-iT, our Smart Email Marketing SAAS platform, in early January 2021.
During the feedback we received, customers made us understand that although they loved email marketing, they preferred SMS and MMS marketing, because of the 95% open rate, and no SPAM traps. They also showed much preference to an omnichannel messaging platform, that also leverages email marketing.
We were also able to receive feedback which gave us unique insights into the pain points of customers, eg, the high cost of sending bulk SMS, MMS, Fax, and Voice messages, and building a mobile mailing list with explicit consent when you don't have any SMS list, to begin with.
These are some of the reasons why we built SMS-iT, as it completely addresses all the complaints and pain points we received from customers during our several surveys.

What do you like best about SMS-iT?
SMS-iT has developed a tool that is easy to understand plus an option to send and receive unlimited free SMS texts. There are four ways I can send unlimited SMS via the decentralized version:1) SMS-iT FREE Public US Number.2) I can use my Simcard, i.e a Simcard Gateway is available, for unlimited messaging.3) SMPP Gateway: I can set up a free SMPP Server on my desktop/server, for free unlimited messaging, by using my mobile network connection.4) In-built Twilio GatewayThe Founder and the support team are incredibly supportive. They are always ready to jump on a Zoom call to help set things up.
What do you dislike about SMS-iT?
- The UI needs modernising and simplification- The onboarding process has a few bugsThe above cons relate to Version 1.0, but don't be deterred, because Version 2.0, will be a massive improvement, and is due to be released within a few months.
